Autolite 1100 Carburetor Manual Choke for 1963-1968 Ford Mustang, Falcon, Mercury 170&200ci Inline 6 Cylinder Automatic Transmission

Please note that this carburetor is designed for a passenger-side mount choke cable and will not fit engines with a manual choke cable installed on the driver's side.

When installing the carburetor for the first time, please use a carburetor cleaning agent to spray the fuel inlet pipe of this carburetor. This will help lubricate the needle valve. If you find that the white plastic push rod leaks during installation, try tapping the top of the housing above the float lightly. This should ensure the needle valve is seated properly. Alternatively, the top of the carburetor can be easily removed, and the needle valve can be manually seated.

This Aluminum Retro Autolite 1100 Model Carburetor features a manual choke and is designed to fit automatic transmission vehicles. It is compatible with '63-'69 Mustang, Falcon, and Mercury 170 models, as well as '63-'64 F-Series trucks, all featuring 6-cylinder engines with 170, 200, or 262 cubic inch displacement.

After installing the carburetor, if you find that the fuel bowl vent is leaking gasoline, simply disassemble the carburetor and clean the needle valve. This carburetor is suitable for use with fuels containing a small amount of ethanol, and it will not harm the carburetor.
